Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VilloHQ, a property-management platform operated by Resurgence Cloud LLC (“VilloHQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), available at villohq.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

VilloHQ helps landlords and property managers run their rental portfolios — collecting rent online, managing leases and e-signature, handling maintenance requests, sending announcements, and giving residents a portal. Features may change over time.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when you create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Text Messaging Program

VilloHQ offers an opt-in text-messaging program for account, transactional, and informational messages (such as rent reminders, payment receipts, maintenance updates, and announcements). Participation is voluntary, consent is not a condition of any purchase or rental, and you may reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help at any time. We will never sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties for their marketing purposes. See the full Text Program terms and our Privacy Policy.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

Subscription fees, any one-time setup fees, and rent payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the fees that apply to your plan. Except where required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. Rent and other resident payments collected through the platform are remitted to the applicable landlord or property manager.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by violating any law, infringing others’ rights, attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform, or using VilloHQ to send unlawful or unsolicited messages.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of the information you put into VilloHQ. You are responsible for the accuracy of the resident and property data you manage and for complying with applicable laws when you communicate with residents. We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The VilloHQ platform, software, and content are owned by Resurgence Cloud LLC and may not be copied, modified, or reused except as permitted by these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resurgence Cloud LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
